@alexandr_wang The e-ink examples suggest a fun build: a little 'what did the house just do?' panel showing the last device action and its result. A physical pause button alongside it would make agent debugging feel much less like hunting through logs 🙂

@alexandr_wang ESP32 is the right call for this. the dual-core setup and built-in wifi/ble mean you can run the agent protocol on one core while the other handles sensor fusion without blocking.

@alexandr_wang great idea, i do that with my openclaw already. My agent controls a mini-display at home showing our calendars, sets music in our sonos accordingly and controls our homeassistant on demand.

@alexandr_wang A desk button that bookmarks the current timestamp in a recorded lesson would be a fun student project. Afterwards, ask the agent to explain just those moments. You could mark where you got lost without pausing to type every time.

@alexandr_wang This is how I imagined agents working a year ago when models started to get really capable, Muse has to overcome the privac concerns of the parent.

@alexandr_wang Open-source hardware with a subscription GPU bill is a remarkably efficient way to put the cloud in the living room.

Google Nest is a classic example of how challenging the smart-home hardware ecosystem can be. Not sure introducing Muse Gadgets through Muse Home Link is the right long-term strategy. A hardware-agnostic Muse that works seamlessly across existing ecosystems could be more compelling.

@alexandr_wang Wow, this is amazing! I've been looking to do a new ESP32 project, and was actually trying to figure out how to get Muse routed through one. You just solved the part I was stuck on, thank you!

@alexandr_wang The useful part is the SDK boundary: expose sensor events through a stable local API, then let the agent decide what to do. Keep device permissions and network access outside the model so a bad prompt cannot turn a gadget into a lateral-movement tool.

@alexandr_wang Sweet. I have muse connected to my home assistant using the tail scale connector. But having the gadgets sdk will open a lot of new possibilities.

@alexandr_wang have been using my FB portal together with Muse, and it worked out neatly! Muse helped to build a Family Dashboard and a photo album app sits right on the kitchen counter!
